The “French School of Ballet” Comes to South Florida — for One Week Only!
For the first time in the United States, in collaboration with the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Jean-Hugues Feray of Paris Ballet and Dance, and the Paris Ballet Conservatory , will bring to South Florida the Magnifique Ballet Intensive – in the pure tradition of l’Ecole Francaise – the French School. From July 3 through 8, 2017, this one week only ballet intensive will be taught by a renowned faculty of French educators of dance. All instructors have studied at the Paris Opera Ballet, and Paris National Conservatory , and have had stellar careers both on stage as leading principal dancers, and in classrooms as extraordinary master teachers.
This impressive faculty list includes, Charles Jude former Etoile (star) at the Paris Opera Ballet and now Artistic Director of the Ballet de l’Opera National de Bordeaux, Christophe Maraval, National Ballet de Nancy, The Ballet du Capitole, Cincinnati Ballet, Principal Dancer Pacific Northwest Ballet andEcole Superieure de Ballet Contemporain de Montreal, Olivier Pardina, Former Principal Dancer with at Nice Opera House, Bejart Ballet, National Ballet de Nancy, and has been on the staff of Paris National Conservatory of Dance, Artistic Director, and Principal Teacher of the School of the Nice Opera Ballet, Harid Conservatory and now Principal Teacher of the Pre-Professional Division of the Miami City Ballet School, and Stephanie Roublot, former National Ballet de Nancy and Now Principal Dancer with the Ballet de l’Opera National de Bordeaux.
Rounding out the extraordinary staff is Jean-Hugues Feray, who was a former Principal Dancer with many international companies including National Ballet de Nancy, National Ballet de Marseille, and with Ballet Florida. Mr. Feray is now the Founder and Director of Paris Ballet and Dance, and Paris Ballet Conservatory in Jupiter, Florida which is celebrating its seventh season as one of the foremost ballet schools in South Florida.
Magnifique Ballet Intensive is an excellent one-time opportunity for both intermediate and advanced students from all over the country to experience the “French School” of dance at its finest. Classes will be hosted at The Kravis Center for the Performing, internationally known for its outstanding educational programs.
