Ballet Palm Beach Dance Academy



(Palm Beach Gardens, FL) –Experienced dancers and dance novices can find a dance opportunity with Ballet Palm Beach this summer. The Academy offers five levels of training in three types of workshops. All dancers, from our youngest children to pre-professionals will culminate their workshops with an in-studio performance.

Our exceptional faculty will provide caring and careful instruction to further each dancer’s technical and artistic development. Our facility has three light-filled studios with sprung floors, comfortable indoor and outdoor waiting areas, and an in-studio performance space for intimate dance presentations.

Enrollment is limited. Please register early. Weekly classes may be available based on total number of registered workshop students. Different rates apply.

Intermediate and Advanced Workshop, July 1 through July 27, 2018, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Ages 9 years and older
$1350 — Three-Week Workshop (M-F) | $500 — Weekly (as space permits)
(Day off- July 4th)
Classes Include: Ballet, Pointe or Pre-Pointe, Variations and Partnering, with weekly classes in Modern, Jazz, and Tap, and rehearsals for the showcase performance. Guest Teacher, Wilhelmina Frankfurt, former soloist for the New York City Ballet, will teach during the final week July 23 through July 27. Wilhelmina Frankfurt is a former ballerina with The New York City Ballet Company under the direction of *George Balanchine ©, Jerome Robbins, and later Peter Martins.  She is most well known for her roles in what are now known as Balanchine’s “Black and White” ballets. She has been teaching, choreographing and directing dance and theater for more than 28 years.

A summer intensive training program in classical ballet with a comprehensive curriculum designed for serious ballet students. This workshop culminates in our Showcase Performance at our Ballet Palm Beach studios on July 27th at 7:00pm.
Dancers aged 16 to 21 attending this workshop will be considered for Ballet Palm Beach Trainee positions for the 2018/2019 Season.

Auditioning for the Ballet Intensive

Out of Town Attendees 
We welcome students from nearby and faraway places to Ballet Palm Beach Academy’s Summer Workshops. Host dancers and families help to make your time in sunny Florida a great experience! The additional cost for housing, transportation and meals is $1150 for the three-week workshop. This is in addition to the tuition cost.


Beginning – Intermediate Workshop June 11 through June 22, 2018, 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Ages 7 years and older
$345 – Two Week Workshop (M-F)
Classes Include: Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Choreography

Two classes daily as well as time spent creating and choreographing a unique dance work. We will develop a theme or story and turn it into our own ballet production. This is a wonderful opportunity for dancers to see how much fun ballet and ballet making can be . . . costumes, choreography and creativity at its best! We will conclude our workshop with a performance of our original ballet masterpiece.


Ages 3 – 7 years old
$175 per One-Week Workshop (M-F)
Workshop 1: The Sleeping Beauty Workshop • June 11 – June 15, 2018, 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Workshop 2: Swan Queen Workshop • June 17 – June 22, 2018, 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Our youngest dancers will learn about the great ballets The Sleeping Beauty or Swan Lake while taking classes each day. Dancers help to create their own costumes and perform for their parents on the last day of our workshop!
